The Training Academy
The primary space for certified training programs in peace mediation, governance, and vocational skills. It features modern lecture halls and simulation labs.
The Research Accelerator
Dedicated workspace for VISO-UG staff, visiting researchers, and local innovators to analyze conflict data and design scalable, evidence-based interventions.
The Community Forum
A neutral space for community leaders, government officials, and stakeholders to meet, debate policy, and co-design solutions in an open and inclusive environment.

Inception and Feasibility Study
Q4 2024Formal approval of the Centre's mandate under the VISO-UG Convention, followed by extensive land and architectural surveys.
Groundbreaking and Phase I Construction
Q2 2025Start of physical construction, focusing on the main Training Academy building and digital infrastructure backbone.
Soft Opening and Pilot Programs
Q4 2025The Centre begins operations, hosting the first cohort of peace mediators and the launch of the Research Accelerator.
Regional Expansion & Full Capacity
2027+Expansion to a full regional mandate, hosting international conferences and establishing satellite hubs for broader reach across East Africa.
