Building economic independence, one skill at a time

What Young People Are Building

Six Pathways to a Livelihood

Every trainee chooses a pathway suited to their interests and their local market, backed by mentorship and start-up support from VISO.

Impact in Their Words

Livelihoods, Rebuilt

01

A returnee farmer in Nwoya joined VISO's agriculture pathway after years of subsistence planting, and now runs a half-acre groundnut plot that covers his children's school fees.

02

A young hairdresser in Gulu City trained through VISO's vocational stream, received a starter toolkit, and now employs two apprentices in her own salon.

03

A savings group in Lamwo District pooled agro-processing training and micro-grants to open a shared maize-milling business, now serving five neighbouring villages.
